Awaiting the onset of Spring... with promises of warmth and sunlight... to add a golden hue to winter-pale skin...Shedding of layers with the changing of the seasons... peeling off the weightiness of dreary and numbing cold... drawing the heat of Summer into the depths of my bones... heating up and stripping down...
All things to look forward to... but for now, this is my starting point...

SoS: Thanks! That fabric is a shawl my oldest sister gave me years ago. It is black sheer fabric with the coloured bit velvety and fringes on the ends. It is lovely.
