HNT #11 - Getting Sleepy

While definitely not half nekkid (I am totally nekkid), I am definitely not uncovered.

I have slept in the nude since I was in my early teens. I find pyjamas and nighties very confining, much too warm and odd feeling after all these years of having only the sheets against my skin.

There is something to be said for sliding between freshly laundered sheets, cool at first, warming quickly from my body heat....

HNT #10 - Reflecting

The time has come for me to take the bull by the horns and whip this half century old bod into some semblance of shape.

I've let things slip a bit over the past decade and have not kept up with the cardio or weight training that I used to do.

Time for some serious effort... I have a bike, a dog and a set of weights in the basement.

I know what to do... I just have to get myself motivated. I think I need a personal trainer... emphasis on 'personal'!

HNT #9

Although I am nowhere near half nekkid in this photo, I am wearing considerably less clothing than I have been in the past eight months.

Spring weather has finally come to my section of the planet, after a very long and uncharacteristically crappy fall/winter.

And I have to say, I feel like I am running around half nekkid now!

It is wonderful to have the warm sun beating down on my skin, my feet unencumbered by socks, shoes or (shudder) boots. No long sleeves or long pants. No hats, scarves and mitts.

I await the heat of summer, in all its sweat inducing glory, with great anticipation!

Bring it on, I say. Bring it on!

Memories of summer's sun
etching lines in my skin
longing for the warmth of it's gaze
as spring's tremulous grip slowly strengthens
those memories will come to fruition
and life once again will be spent
under the sun's blazing glare
revelling in the sweat and heat

soaking in the heat...

tensions soothed away by the enveloping wetness...

Skin bared... warmth radiating... awaiting a caress... flushed pink...

HNT - The Starting Point

Awaiting the onset of Spring... with promises of warmth and sunlight... to add a golden hue to winter-pale skin...

Shedding of layers with the changing of the seasons... peeling off the weightiness of dreary and numbing cold... drawing the heat of Summer into the depths of my bones... heating up and stripping down...

All things to look forward to... but for now, this is my starting point...
